I was born on 27.02.1977 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Graduated in Hydrobiology at the Faculty of Biology, Sofia University in 2000. Now I am working in the National Museum of Natural History as an ichthyologist and curator of the fish collections. Currently, I am finishing my PhD thesis dedicated to the phylogeography of Bulgarian freshwater fishes.
Longtime member of the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds as well as 4 years member of the Council Board. Partly working as a Scientific Consultant in the National Geographic Bulgaria magazine.
